Playaz in B'ham?? [Archive]

I was chatting to somebody lastnight and they reckoned that there is a playaz night at the que club in Brum soon, is that true??

B'ham is alot easier for me to get to than London

I seen a programe on telly a few months back and it followed a week in the life of DJ HYPE I swear he played in a club up there.

I live in Birmingham and have seen a few posters up and around advertising the playaz at the Que club on sat 26th of jan2002 so I prsume it is on although noyhing on the calender here!
But will be in atten-dance Drum and bass in the main room of the Que club will be one not to be missed as it only comes along once in a while. I think tickets are

yep there is a true playerz nite at the que club for sure also there is a slamming vinyl and the FULL valve system on the 1st of feb but that aint at the q club. so many great nights in brum now shame i cant go to all of them.

Thats a bit rough i really wanted to go to the true playerz as hype is my top d&b dj and zinc's tunes are class but things didnot work out to plan so i am off to valve with dillinja/lemon D/dj die/blackmarket/phaze2

should be a good nite there and off to the house of god bday bash also just there is a live bit with a drummer and samplers etc going on which is a bit diffrent and i find the d&b there quite good even if it is the 2nd room its still a good night but valve is gonna be pure class.

Can't pick it up where i am, it's in a bit of a dip. Escape used to have me drivin round in me car checkin where i could pick it up round here but unless i go up on a hill i can't get shit :(

i know what ya sayin, when i saw the flyer i thought it was feb 26th couldnt wait, then realised it was this week and that i didnt have no cash. gonna have to make up 4 that shit nxt month. any 1 reachin slammin vinyl?

i am saving myself for the FULL valve system on the 1st of feb for 10 quid you cant go wrong with the line up so looking forward to it but i think i may be feeling sorry for myself if i am deaf for 2 days after

anybody going to that?.........

slammin vinyl is a good line up but valve has not got that many mc's which in my view is GOOD and valve is famous for its raw power.
