How about a dj competition with the winner getting to play the warm up set @ a playaz night @ fabric?

It means you don't have to pay for a warm up dj and it'd be great experience for the winner. Only problem is who'd judge it but what ya saying funksta, good idea??

I think it sound like a great idea, it gives those people who haven't got any contact's a chance to get out there and strut there stuff!

it is a good idea but in reality none of us will have the time to go through and listen to all the mixes.

but if it was just forum regulars you'd probably only get about 6 mixes!

Yeah, fair point. But Beri's right, you could make the mixes limited to 30 mins or something and if u kept it strictly forum then you would only get a few sent in....... 3 or 4 hours of your time max and it'd save ya a couple of hundred on a dj :)

I doubt it's the Playaz call in the money side anyway... probably more up to the promoters in charge. Well, at least females could try.. um.. sleeping with a promoter for a spot? ;)

Good idea, it could start a big thing a give a opportunity to decent up and comming DJ's to rock a crowd.

if the mixes were kept down to 20-30 mins I am sure the playaz could listen to a few??
