right then.......

- the synth stabs on the intro on the intro remind me of Morning Light by Concord Dawn (not a bad thing at all)
- i never liked that sample in an of the versions of Ready Or Not it was used in. tho by chopping it up it sounds a little different
- your drums still arent convincing enough
- the bass is ridiculous
- the lead synth is cool, nice arrangement on that
- overall arrangement on the track is better than Symphony, seems more structured and a little less hap-hazard
- i like it, but i wouldnt buy it

3 klownz out of 5

Ok...

Sample is cool, but I really can't get ready or not out of my head. But I like the way you've used that crazy twisted synth over it on the intro.

Drums wise, I don't think that snare sounds right. It just seems a bit, I dunno, flappy lol. Maybe even bring the kick up.

Like the drop where it all breaks down to those synths, that would sound fucking awesome in a club. After its dropped it does sound a bit sparce tho because so much of the intro was based around the sample. Could you not maybe bring those back in, like delayed off stabs of the intro sample that keep hitting every couple of bars?

Bit like what starts to happen after the first phrase...

Overall, not a bad tune mate

LOL at the rating :D

I did have those vocal cuts after the drop, but then the second phrase sounded empty. i didn't want to over do it with the sample either.

Cheersfor listening as always mate :respek:

he he, i know you'll disagree but sometimes i think the drums need to be a little thinner to suit the atmosphere of the track.

the bass has got quite a lot of modulation (z3ta mod matrix  ) and a subtle bit of distortion to just push it over the edge on certain notes to make it more interesting. give it a listen loud and you'll see ;)

Yeah the bass is sweet.

I think I understand what marlees saying about the drums...to me it sound like that kick or snare that you have quite loud is flat. its just a snap hit...no reverb or warmth to it, it sounds mechanical. Compared to the rest of the track its sort of out place.

I hope that makes sense. I like it. Not amazing, but definately a good one.

like it.

think snare lacks depth, a lil bit of reverb wouldnt go a miss on it to make it ring a little bit more so it blends into the bg more.
similar with the kick drum.

otherwise it rawks.
dunno how to do smilies so no rating from me other than 4.25 on the Mike-o-meter.

dave, yea that does make more sense now. i think i'll try and stick a bit of verb on the high end of the snare :D

sounds good :D

just need to bring the drums up in the mix a bit, and stick give that snare more of a 'schmack' sound.

i like it tho :)
